Overview: Preparation

Selecting a preparation for a recipe ingredient is optional i.e. you don't have to select one.

When adding an ingredient to a recipe you can assign a 'preparation' to that ingredient which then clearly indicates how that ingredient should be prepared for that recipe.

Examples:

  • Beaten

  • Boiling

  • Chopped

  • Crushed

  • Diced

  • Drained

  • Finely Chopped

  • Halved

Preparation terms can only be added into My Recipe Manager by the software vendor, Simple Data Management Systems.
