How to Delete a Recipe from your Recipe Costings
Warning: once you delete a recipe from your list of costed recipes there is no undo. If you accidently delete a recipe from your list of costed recipes you will need to re-add it. To view the topic on how to do this click here.
Note: the 'Ingredient Costing' and 'Costed Recipes' functionality within My Recipe Manager requires the following role to be assigned to the users account by a school administrator: 'Recipe Costing'. To view the list of available roles and what they allow a user to do click here.
Note: this process does not delete the actual recipe or its ingredients, it just removes the recipe from your list of costed recipes and will no longer be taken into consideration in your costed recipe reports.
Note: this process does not remove the costing that has been applied to any of the recipe's ingredients, it just removes the recipe from your list of costed recipes. Any ingredient with a costing applied to it will remain costed unless you specifically remove the costing from that ingredient. To delete a recipe from your list of costed recipes please follow the below instructions.
- Select the menu titled 'Recipe Costings' then select the menu titled 'Costed Recipes' (refer below image).

- You will be directed to the 'Costed Recipes' page (refer below image). This page lists the recipes that you have added to your 'costed recipes'.
- Locate the costed recipe that you wish to delete.
- Select the three dot ellipsis to the immediate right of the recipe name.
- Select the menu titled 'Delete'.

- A confirmation window will open (refer below image).
- To permanently delete the costed recipe select the 'OK' button or
- To cancel the deletion select the 'Cancel' button.
